SECANDA Suite is our core platform: a single identity that brings together identification, cashless payments, access control, and integration with your systems, along with the SECANDA App. It comes with a hardware ecosystem (RFID cards, printers, lockers, locks) and specialized platforms: Micanda, the standalone point-of-sale system, and Schoolinked, the school communication and school life platform. Everything is modular: you can start with a single product and expand later.
For SECANDA Suite, a single annual license based on the number of users managed on the platform. There is no extra charge per physical card issued or per mobile credential activated, and no transaction fees on closed-loop payments. The license includes updates and support, with no separate maintenance contract. Our other products follow the same annual-license principle: Micanda is billed per cash register, Schoolinked by number of students.
Yes, through SECANDA Connect: a full REST API, webhooks, and connectors to more than 50 systems (Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory/LDAP, SAP, Abacus, Evento, and others). In the field, SECANDA orchestrates your access systems (SALTO, Gantner, Dormakaba) rather than replacing them. If a system is not covered out of the box, a custom connector is still possible, with no lock-in.
You choose how it is hosted: on your own infrastructure (on-premise) or in a private cloud hosted in Switzerland. Either way, your data belongs to you and stays under your control; it can be exported at any time via SECANDA Connect (REST API, CSV/XML exports). If you terminate the contract, we return all of your data and support your outbound migration; RFID cards keep working with any MIFARE/LEGIC-compatible system. No technical or contractual lock-in.
Deployment happens at your pace: it can be phased, with old and new systems running side by side during the transition, and you can keep your existing cards and readers. From data migration to go-live, our teams support you at every step, backed by more than 35 years of experience in Switzerland.
Yes. We equip more than 500 institutions, mainly in Switzerland but also internationally. The platform natively supports French, German and English, multiple currencies and different VAT regimes. Support is provided in French, German and English.
